Ever notice how mosquitoes completely ignore some people but eat you alive

Your body chemistry also plays an important role. Certain compounds produced by the skin, along with the bacteria that naturally live on it, create unique scents that may attract mosquitoes more than others. Sweating after exercise can make you an even more appealing target because it releases lactic acid and increases body temperature.

Blood type may also influence mosquito preferences. Some studies suggest that people with Type O blood receive more mosquito bites than those with Type A, while Type B falls somewhere in between. Although blood type isn’t the only factor, it may contribute to why some people seem to attract mosquitoes wherever they go.

The clothes you wear can make a difference as well. Dark colors like black, navy, and deep red are easier for mosquitoes to spot, especially during daylight hours. Wearing lighter-colored clothing may help reduce your chances of attracting their attention.
