The next day, Daniel visited a doctor with his parents.
The doctor asked him several questions and explained that changes in urination can have many different causes. The important thing was not to panic, but also not to ignore symptoms that continued or became worse.
Daniel felt relieved.
From that day forward, he began paying more attention to his health. He drank water regularly, avoided constantly holding his urine when he could use the bathroom, and made sure to tell an adult when something about his health seemed unusual.
A few weeks later, Daniel was walking home from school when he remembered something his teacher had said:
Your body often gives you small signals before you realize something needs attention.
Daniel smiled.
He understood that taking care of yourself isn’t about being afraid of every change. It’s about listening to your body, making healthy choices, and asking a trusted adult or healthcare professional for help when something doesn’t seem right.
And sometimes, one small decision to pay attention can make a very important difference.
